    ANAMADNAGIRL: … …
ANAMADNAGIRL: …chest voice. The other biggie is to RELAX to reach lower notes. Don’t try to force them as that will just tighten everything up, which makes your chords vibrate faster, producing a higher sound. Start at middle C and go down by 1/2 steps with an “Ah” sound (jaw dropped), relaxing the sound.

I am a vocal coach, and here a few tips. First, you need to understand and be able to feel the difference between your head and chest voice. More than likely, you are always singing with your head voice (that’s what I see the most of). The chest voice is the same voice you talk with. Try talking, then singing in the same manner. Also, sing something obnoxiously loud :) so you can feel your chest voice. Once you can tell the difference, continue singing in your lower range using your…

    Well, personally I …
Well, personally I do not believe it will damage your vocal chords. But, if you do sing non-stop, you can paralyze them, which is called vocal paralysis. :) It can be reversible, no doubt in that.

    Does it mean …
Does it mean singing louder can improve the quality of sound? and also plz tell if practicing a lot can hurt your vocal chords if yes is the damage reversable?

    This does not …
This does not always follow. Many throat specialists and Drs of the Voice don’t sing and allow the individual student to hear themselves first before they even open the (teachers) mouth. My teacher had an Operatic hit in 1957 Mark Hayden was his name. He started to teach me ealy in his 60’s, his voice was not the voice of his youth. If I had judged him by his voice I would have walked out the door. Gladly I have a strong and active career singing and teaching.

    just by looking how …
just by looking how he “sings”, you know he has bad technics, therefore he cannot teach others how to sing right

  22. charlesprinceofswing

    Look. I don’t agree …
Look. I don’t agree with everything he says but if fact if you look behind the words you can see for yourself that he teaches principles to gain the same effects that I would using different “techniques” (don’t like that word really). So please, refrain from saying he is ruining voices when in fact you don’t know that to be the case do you. Its as bad as saying that because I have no one famous on my list of students that I am a bad teacher. Repent and be more careful how you critique others.

  23. nicolashrv

    HAHA!!
    I doubt …

    HAHA!!
I doubt your “clients” (note you didnt said students) can complaint!!
After two weeks with your “lessons” they cannot speak anymore since you destroyed their vocal cords!! HAHAHAHA!!!

    comments like “fat …
comments like “fat ass” are not being corrected. They are a reflection of your character. Trust me, I’m not angry. Oh, and trust me, I’m not being corrected, either. Duty is a strong word for someone who’s correction method is to make personal attacts on someone’s looks. But, you have the right and I welcome your comments. Oh, I love the money I make and is the reason I teach, it just so happens that I love what I do, too. So far, all of my clients love it, too. Thanks again for your comments.
